Congratulations to Blue Haven Pools & Spas

on receiving the Lifetime Business Award.

This award honours businesses in our Local Government Area (LGA) that have stood the test of time, and Blue Haven Pools & Spas, founded in 1973 by Ray and Mary Awadallah, is a shining example. For over 50 years, this family-owned business has brought joy to countless families, starting with manufacturing and installing vinyl-lined above-ground pools in New South Wales. Ray’s passion for family and the water inspired the creation of Blue Haven, whose iconic elephant branding symbolises the strength and durability of its pools—strong enough to support an elephant!

Over the years, Blue Haven has expanded into national and international markets, reaching the USA and Europe, and earning an impressive collection of over 350 awards for their innovative designs. In 2011, the company was passed on to Ray and Mary’s daughter, Remonda Rose, who continues to operate in the Fairfield City area, staying true to the family values of honesty, exceptional service, and treating both staff and customers like family.

We are proud to recognise Blue Haven Pools & Spas for its enduring success, contribution to our community, and commitment to excellence. Here’s to many more years of growth and achievement!

If you would like to nominate a local business that has been trading for over 25 years in our LGA, just follow the link below and complete the nomination form.

Nominations are now open

Nominations for the 2025 Fairfield City Local Business Awards opened on Monday, 3rd February and will close on Tuesday, 4th March with the winners to be announced at the Awards Presentation Evening, on Wednesday, 7th May 2025 at Doltone House, Bossley Park.

The awards are an opportunity for members of the community to encourage and show appreciation for outstanding providers of goods and services from the Fairfield Business Community.

We know how hard business owners, managers and staff work, often going above and beyond to help their clients and customers. We hope that the Awards are one way to thank and recognise these people, who are the backbone of our commercial and business community.

Voting for your favourite business is as simple as visiting the Local Business Awards website www.thebusinessawards.com.au
